  • Astute analysis! Henderson set the standard for a prototypical lead-off hitter. Walked enough for a high on base percentage. Stole bases enough to torture the pitcher, and hit for enough power there were no real options when facing him. I think Ichrio adds another dimension however.

  • SEC is less than the best! USC consistently is gutted by the NFL draft, often twice as many picks any SEC team. Yet the Pac 10 teams, who by the way won ALL their Bowls last season, seem to be the only ones who can beat them, excepting Vince Young.
